In this workshop we will practice a quick and easy warm up to prepare the muscles for activity, yoga based alignment and body checks to focus on while you move, and a core focused cool down to tone the midsection of the body and stretch out all the muscles that tighten on walks and runs. Whether you are a long time walker/runner or just starting a routine this workshop is for you

Instructor Insight:

“After running my first marathon I launched into yoga teacher training. It was then that I realized how much my body needed this kind of cross training. Where running had built up the strength in my legs and helped me kick start a fitness routine, it left me with a weak core and upper body and very tight legs and hips. Yoga provided a space to stretch out my tight muscles and build balanced strength throughout my body which in turn made me a better runner. Running and walking are two free and easy ways to stay active and yoga provides a great companion” – Regan
