Feeling stiff, achy and slouchy? Show your body some TLC with this mobility and stability workshop! Too little

or too much movement and a lack of stability in the muscles and joints can lead to stiffness and dysfunction thus increasing the risk of injury. Wrist exercises, knee friendly/strengthening work, hip stabilization, nerve gliding, neck stretches will be featured. This workshop will both be challenging but gentle – just like Elaine herself.

Needed: yoga mat, rolled up towel or small foam roller, rubber band

Instructor Insight: “Using my body for work and dealing with several injuries myself, I recognize the importance of movement and more importantly, movement with intention. I was inspired by my desk job clients who often ache of low back pain, stiff necks and tense shoulders that may not take the time to practice self care or realize the importance of joint mobility and stability. I wanted to provide a workshop that provided light muscle activation that can be done anytime and why it’s beneficial for the body. Any movement is good movement whether it’s yoga or not; but how we move is just as important as why we move.”
