“Working out is one of my favorite things to do. In the past, I would only work out the vanity muscles I could see in the mirror while totally neglecting my posterior chain. As a result, I have unhappy joints and a muscular imbalance that I try to fix constantly. Working as a massage therapist, I have come to realize that a lot of people do not have the knowledge of strengthening their back side, which result in them having low back pain, stiff necks and tense shoulders. This inspired to create a workshop that mostly concentrates on the rhomboids, lats, glutes and hamstrings and provide some insight and knowledge on the importance of backing it up.”

Do you sit a lot? Have low back aches? Feel hunched over? Have I got a workshop for you! Most humans today tend to have an anterior chain-dominant body, neglecting some of the bigger muscles in the back of the body. That can lead to higher risk of injury, poor posture and muscular imbalance. Let’s back it up and work the muscles we can’t see in the mirror to counteract all of that nonsense! All you need is your yoga mat and a chair for this yoga-inspired back strengthening workout which will include neck stretches, pec and hip flexor stretches.
