Arm Balance Fundamentals Pt. 2

Arm balance fundamentals pt. 2 will focus on 4 more arm balances to add to your yoga practice, or find ways to grow in these arm balances if they are already in your practice. This is a 90 minute workshop. Each pose will be broken down by muscle group to help you better understand where your strength needs to come from This is a continuation of pt.1! You don’t need to take the first workshop, but it is highly recommended. Please see below for a list of arm balances that we will be working on:

Eka Hasta Bhujasana (Elephant Trunk Pose)

Astavakrasana (8 angle)

Bhujapidasana (Arm pressure pose)

Titibasana (Firefly)

Instructor Insight: Arm balances can be tricky to work on in a 55 minute class. Many of my students’ have goals wrapped around arm balances. I wanted to create a two part workshop that breaks down some of the more common arm balances in yoga. Focusing on strength in each muscle group and offering tips and tricks in each pose.
