Arm Balance Fundamentals Pt. 1

Arm Balance Fundamentals pt.1 is a 90 minute workshop dedicated to breaking down some of the most common arm balances in Yoga. In this workshop we will work on and discuss each muscle group, in terms of strength, associated with the following arm balances:

Bakasana (Crow Pose)

Parsva Bakasana (Side Crow)

Eka pada Koundinyasana 1 (Twisted One Legged Arm Balance pose 1)

Eka pada Koundinyasana 2 (Twisted One Legged arm balance pose 2)

Instructor Insight: Arm balances can be tricky to work on in a 55 minute class. Many of my students have goals wrapped around arm balances. I wanted to create a two part workshop that breaks down some of the more common arm balances in yoga. Focusing on strength in each muscle group and offering tips and tricks in each pose.
