Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Come to the top of the mat, equal standing with hands on hips
  2. Step the left foot back and out setting up for pyramid pose
  3. With both legs straight, inhale to lengthen up through the crown of the head, exhale to fold forward
  4. Allow both hands to frame the right foot
  5. Take the right thumb into the right hip-crease and gently pull the right hip back in space
  6. Inhale to lengthen forward exhale open the right arm to the sky coming into revolved triangle
  7. Look forward, shift and lift into revolved half moon, lifting the left leg high
  8. Finding your balance, bend into the left knee and capture the left foot with the right hand
  9. Engage the belly and keep a gentle bend in the right knee
  10. Extend the left hand forward and begin to rise up into revolved dancer’s pose
  11. Hold for 3 breaths
  12. Gently release the left hand to the mat, release the right hand to the mat and come to a standing forward fold
  13. Repeat on the opposite side
