MOXIE 30-Day Challenge

SEPTEMBER 1 - 30

Have you ever wondered how you might benefit from a daily yoga practice? This is your chance to find out — with the support of MOXIE teachers and community!  Join us for MOXIE’s 4th annual 30-Day Challenge.

The Challenge: Take class everyday for the month of September (4 rest days permitted and you may also double up on days to make up for any missed days). At the end of the month we will hold a raffle for those who have successfully completed the challenge. Prizes include yoga gear, class packages and more — in addition to the benefits and accomplishment of establishing a regular yoga practice. We hope you’ll join us!

FAQ

What if I cannot make it every day?
Students are permitted 4 rest days and need only practice 26 classes during the month of June to qualify completion of the challenge.
Can I make up for missed classes?
Yes, you can take up to two classes/day to make up for any missed days.I'm leaving town, does yoga at another studio count toward my total?
No, you'll need to make up any missed days by doubling up.What do I receive for completing the challenge?
The most rewarding prize is the accomplishment in itself, but if you complete the challenge, you will receive a t-shirt and you will be entered into a raffle for yoga gear and free classes at the end of the challenge.

Take Flight: Arm Balances

Ever take a yoga class and wonder how someone gets into crow pose without toppling over? Curious about what it means to “fly” into eka pada koundinyasana? This 90 minute workshop will break down these arm balances as well as side crow, flying pigeon and crazy 8**. Take your practice to a new level and come fly with me*!

Yin Yoga

WITH LAURA DELLA GUARDIA

Yin Yoga holds passive floor poses for anywhere from 1-5 minutes and focuses on stretching the connective tissues of the body such as the tendons, fascia, and ligaments with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
