Arm Balancing & Inversions

WITH LEXI COTCAMP

Interested in learning how to go upside down? Join us in exploring the dynamics of yoga arm balancing & inversions, including postures like crow, headstand, handstand, eight-angle pose (astavakrasana), and hurdler/sage II (eka pada koundinyasana II). This 2-hour workshop will progressively integrate both strength & flexibility-building movements into a power vinyasa flow, preparing the body & mind to enter more challenging asanas. Throughout practice, students will learn how to creatively approach these postures step-by-step, with an emphasis on safe alignment and breath connection. The workshop will conclude with aromatherapy relaxation and impart students with a deeper understanding of how they can safely integrate inversions into their own practice.

This workshop is appropriate for students of all levels, with modifications and variations offered at every step of the way.

Yin Yoga

WITH LAURA DELLA GUARDIA

Yin Yoga holds passive floor poses for anywhere from 1-5 minutes and focuses on stretching the connective tissues of the body such as the tendons, fascia, and ligaments with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
